Standing Frames
A standing frame is designed for physically and/or mentally disabled children, teenagers and adults who are not able to stand in an upright position on their own. Most of these individuals are hypotonic showing a decreased muscle tone.
There are different types of standing frames. Upright/prone standers such as our standing frame Standard, Impuls, Jumbo and Benni provide assisted prone to upright positioning. Supine standing systems like Lasse and Da Vinci tilt from horizontal to vertical and back for an easy transfer and for adjusting the very standing angle a user requires. A movable stander like Speeedy gives users the opportunity to explore the world since two driving wheels provide mobility in an upright position. Standing frames for orthoses, e. g. Jumbo for standing orthoses, are designed for children and teenagers wearing a standing orthosis.
